MFJ-949C Antenne tuner

Ny duppeditt i shack'en.. Kjøpte meg en antenne tuner. Kan være kjekt å ha, selv om min Kenwood TS-850SAT har innebygd autotuner..

Full 1.8-30MHz Operation
Custom designed inductor switch, 1000 volt tuning capacitors, Teflon insulation washers and proper L/C ratio gives you arc-free no worries operation with up to 300 Watts 1.8 to 30 MHz.

Tunes any Antenna
Tunes out SWR on dipoles, verticals, inverted vees, random wires, beams, mobile whips, shortwave receiving antennas.... Nearly anything! Use coax, random wire or balanced lines. Has heavy duty 4:1 balun.

Custom Inductor Switch
The inductor switch is the most likely component to burn up in any antenna tuner. MFJs inductor switch in the MFJ-949E was custom designed to withstand the extremely high RF voltages and currents that are developed in your tuner.

Da var HF-antenna oppe...

Etter mye strev og med god hjelp fra Thor Helge (LA3PSA) og Bjørn Ole (LA3FSA) fikk vi endlig opp HF-antenna mi. Måtte bruke spretterten i det ene treet. Men Thor Helge sin legendariske kastearm gjorde jobben i det andre treet :) Vi fikk antenna ganske høyt over bakken.. Dette er en variant av Carolina Windom antennen. Målene er 14,5m og 25,5m. Balunen er 1:4. Får noe HF innslag ved sending. Den ser ut til å fungere greit på de fleste bånd.

Windom antenner er jo kjent for å være litt sære angående HF innslag... Planen fremover er å sette på en lengere fødekabel, og muligens sette inn en 1:1 strømbalun.
